What is Tie-Rod Winged Nut?
Tie-Rod Winged Nut is a knock-on wing nut which is used in conjunction with waller plates to secure the bar in formwork applications. It is the compression nut of tie-rod shaft. It is less affected by environmental factors such as pollution in comparison to standard threaded studs. Tie-Rod Winged Nut has advantages features such as:
- It is attached to both ends of the tie-rod shaft easily.
- Many times, not even a special key is required to install and remove it. Owing to their characteristic structure, a suitably sized hammer or iron rod will be enough to install and remove it.
- Produced from ductile iron, Tie-Rod Winged Nut is very resistant to outer affects.
- It is durable and long-lasting.
- Large flash diameter does not harm and wear down the mold.
